Thanks Courtney!

Last night our friends, Courtney and Dawayne came over to cookout and give Josh and Peyton hair cuts. She did such a wonderful job as always. Peyton used to be scared to death of getting a hair cut. And I mean he would scream to death and I would have to hold him down! We always made quite the scene at the salons. But now since Courtney moved back to NWA we have been blessed to have her come cut his hair at our house and it has made a huge difference. She is so good with kids. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of C & P together. Isn't it cute!?! Thanks again Courtney!

Memorial Day weekend in Dallas

We went to Dallas to see Nick (Josh's brother), Meredith, and Reese. The boys did great in the car. We didn't even have to put a movie in on the way back. They were content either sleeping or playing with their toys in the car, which was a blessing. We had so much fun with N,M, & R. They have the coolest neighborhood pool I have ever seen. So of course we had to take the kids. It has sprinklers, waterfalls, and two big slides. This was Parker and Reese's first time in a big pool. Parker only liked it if someone was holding him. Peyton and Reese loved every minute of it. Peyton cried when it was time to leave the pool.
Now he's better.
Josh, Nick, Meredith and I loved the slides. Here's Josh on his way down.
Peyton couldn't get enough of the water.
After church on Sunday we all went to eat at Lucy's. It was sooo yummy.

Happy Birthday Reese!

Our sweet niece turned 1 year old on Saturday! We took the boys down to Dallas this past weekend for her birthday party at the park. Meredith did such a good job planning it. Everything turned out great! We love you precious Reese Caroline! Can't wait to see you again soon.

Big Week for Parker

Last week Parker got his first tooth in, became an offical crawler, and said Da-Da and Ma-Ma for the first time! It's been a big week for our Parkerman. No wonder he is so worn out.

Boys will be Boys

Our little Rock Star and the future American Idol 2025...
This morning I left the room for a few minutes to start a load of laundry. When I came back this is what I found. Peyton confessed and said, "Carker got hungry when you were washing so I gave him those." Yes, Peyton still calls Parker, Carker. We're not sure why because he can clearly say the "P" sound.

Yum, this is fun Mom.

Peyton had also moved his pop tart off the counter onto the floor. Next Parker headed to brother's food.
I should have gotten a picture of Peyton's face. He was quite upset when he noticed Parker near his pop tart. I promise this kid already had an 8 oz bottle and a jar of baby food for breakfast. He must have really wanted put his first new tooth that he got in this week to work.

So Close

We expect to have another man on the move around our house anyday.
I love this one! It looks like he's doing a push up the hard way-ha.
This is blurry because I took it with my iphone but it still shows how close he is to crawling.
When Peyton was about this age, I couldn't wait for him to crawl. But I've learned my lesson and am trying to keep him off his knees as long as I can!

A day at the doctor

Normally I enjoy my Thursdays. It's my day to catch up on errands or some times just have "me" time. Peyton goes to KDO this day and so it's just me and Parker T. Most weeks I meet some girlfriends at Starbucks after we drop off our kids. Anyway, this morning I had to go to the doctor to get my thyroid check, which of course took longer than they had told me it would. We have a history of thyroid problems in my family. Then I ran errands and it was then time to pick up Peyton. When I picked him up I took him to the doctor b/cs he's had a rash with raised tiny bumps for a week and being the "Mother of the year" that I am, kept thinking it would go away but it never did. The doc wasn't for sure what it was but said it was probably a virus and would just have to run it's course. Luckily he said it's not contagious since he isn't running fever and seems to be feeling great. So we came home and I layed Parker down for his nap. And wouldn't you know it, he woke up with a 102 fever and sounding congested. His poor little body had red splotches from the fever so I decided not take the chance I had taken with Peyton and call for an appointment. So we hopped in the car and went right back up to the doctor. The doctor looked Parker over and said, "Ears and throat look good, he has a virus that must run his course." Another virus! I hate these things because there's nothing you can do to get rid of them. So my normal "me" Thursday was mainly spent at the doctor's office. I guess there's always next week...

Happy Birthday Josh!!!

Today you turn 28!!! I love you so so much! You are the best friend, husband, and Daddy anyone could ask for. I love how you truely have a heart after God and continue to grow deeper in your walk with God every day. You are a wonderful encourager to me even when it's not easy. You are the most humble person I have ever known and I thank you for that. I appreciate you being such a hard working in all you do whether it's on the football field or at home. I love parenting with you even during the crazy times. You are the best and most fun Daddy in the WORLD. The boys look up to you so much and I can already tell it in the precious eyes of our 9 month old son. Thank you for all you do for me and the boys. You're the best. HAPPY BIRTHDAY and much love from - Kate, Peyton and Parker :)

Life of a Baby

Mmm, this taste good.
After ten minutes of swinging and chewing, it can really wear out a baby...
